How Do You Make A Layered Shot?

Layered shots are a lot easier to make than they look. All you need is a steady (-ish) hand and a small spoon, or a bar spoon.

Pour the bottom layer into your shot glass, for this Irish Flag Shot that will be the Creme de Menthe. Next pour in the Bailey’s layer which is the middle layer, slowly over the back of a spoon.

Finally, pour in the top layer which is Grand Marnier. Grand Marnier is an orange flavored liquor which is also what gives the top layer the orange color. And there you have it, layered shot making 101.

You can layer these shots about an hour before serving time and keep them in the refrigerator, just use a steady hand when you take them out to serve!

Impress your friends with these shots, you can even make them up ahead of time! For more layered shots recipes, try our Layered Candy Cane Shot or these delicious Black and White Cookie Shots!
