A Creamy Dessert Shot For Parties
We love serving all kinds of dessert cocktails at parties or the holidays. Sometimes you’re just too full for a big dessert, sometimes you might want both.
I did end up serving these Oatmeal Cookie Shots with actual oatmeal cookies. It just seemed appropriate to do that. Plus the kids were hovering around so I needed to throw them some sort of a dessert so they were happy too.
We had a few baked treats laying around this week – the Chocolate Chip Carrot Cake Cookies and Christie whipped up a few of these Peach Custard Tarts for our son’s 6th grade graduation.
Done with 6th grade, going onto middle school and before we know it, high school. Everyone says it, but time does go by way to fast! We’ve still got our little guy only heading into 3rd grade but it seems like only yesterday that he was heading into kindergarten.
My motto is to live in the moment and constantly celebrate because as we know it all goes by in a flash. So let’s break out this Oatmeal Cookie Shot recipe!
Ingredients For This Oatmeal Cookie Shot
- Kahlua
- Irish Cream
- Butternut Schnapps
- Cinnamon Whiskey
Bailey’s is one of those things that we always seem to have in the fridge. It’s easy to keep in that back there…no one knows it’s there until you need it.
We use Baileys in all different kinds of drink recipes like this Baileys Martini for one, or you can try our famous Duck Fart Shot and try out your layering skills! But you don’t have to use the brand name we all seem to know, any Irish Cream will work just fine in this shot recipe.
How To Make This Oatmeal Cookie Shot Recipe
Let’s start shaking up these sweet and boozy shots!
All you need to do is add Baileys, Kahlua, butternut schnapps and cinnamon whiskey to a shaker and shake well. There’s really nothing else to it. A super easy drink recipe that you can serve with happy hour or as part of your dessert.
Or AS dessert, totally up to you!
Sometimes the awesome dinner that you made for your guests is really enough, and dessert feels like something everyone should serve but isn’t always needed. That’s when a dessert shot like this recipe is totally appropriate!
A little taste of something sweet that won’t make you need to stretch put and unbutton. You know you do it, we all do! Also serving dessert shots are just really fun, especially at parties – whether you’re serving dinner or not!
