Why You’ll Love This Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria

If you’re looking for fall flavors in a cocktail, this Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria is the one to make!

  • Fun For Parties: Nothing says party drink more than sangria. And since we’re making it in a big pitcher there will be plenty to go around.
  • Make Ahead Recipe: Again, when we’re party planning, a make ahead recipe like this sangria is golden.
  • Delicious Fall Flavors: With crisp apple cider, caramel vodka and a kick from cinnamon whiskey, this drink gives all the fall vibes.

How To Make

Grab a pitcher and pour in some apple cider, apple liquor and cinnamon whiskey. See the recipe card below for a complete list of ingredients and amounts needed.

Add fruit to this apple cider sangria like sliced apples and pomegranate seeds. Other ideas could include pears, berries, grapes or cranberries. Ideally, we like to let the sangria sit in the refrigerator for a couple of hours for the flavors to blend, but if you need to serve it right away that’ll be fine, too.

Top off your Sparkling Fireball Apple Sangria with sparkling apple cider or champagne!

Right before serving, top off the pitcher with prosecco or champagne, stir and pour into glasses. Alternately, you can pour the sangria and fruit into glasses and then top of each glass with prosecco.

We use this method if we’re making this recipe ahead of time for parties, we want fresh bubbles in every glass!

What Other Whiskey Can I Use For This Apple Cider Sangria?

If you don’t want to use Fireball Whiskey, or maybe you don’t love the cinnamon flavor that it has, you can definitely substitute any other whiskey or bourbon that you like.

Or you can grab an apple whiskey or a caramel whiskey, both would be delicious in this sangria! And of course straight up bourbon or whiskey will work too, it’s really just about what you prefer drinking.

Sparkling Fireball Sangria will warm you up on cold nights!

Storing

Make sure that if you top off the whole pitcher of sangria with prosecco that you’re going to be finishing it. If you’re unsure, then top off individual glasses because we want to preserve those bubbles.

If you’re pitcher doesn’t have a top, cover tightly with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Serve the sangria topped off with fresh prosecco or champagne.
