A Strong, Knock You On Your A** Drink Recipe!

This strong, boozy rum drink has such a distinct flavor. The flavor reminds me of vacationing on a beach, or sitting out on my deck in the summertime with friends…I’m hoping that some of those days come sooner rather than later. We dodged the last “epic” snow storm here in Jersey and I’m thankful for that.

These kinds of drink recipes are the kinds that you have to be careful about. You know the ones I mean, they taste so fruity and delicious that you don’t actually realize how much alcohol is in there.

Until you’ve had a few too many, and then my friends, you realize.

So take it from me who’s been there and done that. Sip on these Hurricane cocktails slowly…you don’t want to be that guy at the end of the night. And I have been that guy.

How To Make A Hurricane Cocktail

The recipe for this Hurricane drink recipe will definitely put a dent in your liquor cabinet. There’s vodka, gin, rum and amaretto – just in this one drink.

The pineapple juice and the grapefruit juice does an excellent job of covering up all the alcohol that’s in it, so consider yourself warned! You can double or even triple or quadruple the booze in this recipe for however many drinks you think you might need and store it in a pitcher for parties.

Pour each drink over ice and garnish with fresh fruit. Just make sure that you’re serving plenty of food at your party so your friends don’t end up staying the night!

So, you need some food options for your party? We’ve got them! All kidding aside, it’s really very important to have the right amount of food at your party. I’ve been to some parties where it’s more like all the booze you want and a few chips…

Those never end well.

Our rule of thumb is that we like to have a lot more food than we need. There’s always room for another party the next day or just leftovers for when you don’t really feel like cooking.
