Everyone’s going to love this flavorful Tequila Lime Crush cocktail! It’s a super easy tequila cocktail that’s made with pineapple, lime and cointreau!
Tequila Cocktails Are Some Of My Favorite Drinks
I’ve been sipping a few cocktails this week, trying out some new flavors and mixing some new drinks. I have been know to be kind of a “bartender” of sorts at parties. There is never an empty glass when I’m around…ask some of my friends and they’ll be sure to tell you.
I like to surprise people with drinks by giving them something they don’t think they’ll like and then they taste it and they do. Like some people think they don’t like tequila – I’m not one of them – but I know there are some out there. Instead of giving them a margarita or a shot, I’ll give them this Tequila Lime Crush.
This drink will make all of your guests be fans of tequila. There’s really nothing in it not to love, crushed pineapple, a whole bunch of fresh grated lime zest and of course some good tequila. I used Hornitos® Plata for this drink but I think the Hornitos® Lime Shot would be a good substitute also.
Can You Make This Cocktail Recipe Ahead Of Time?
What’s ideal about this cocktail is that you can make it ahead of time in a pitcher (because I know you won’t be making just one) and then just add some crushed ice to a glass before pouring. That way everyone can serve themselves and you don’t have to, even if you want to. Sit back and enjoy your party!
All you have to do is add all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker (or a pitcher) and shake well…then strain into a glass with crushed ice. Add a lime wedge and you’re good to go!
I hope you try this Tequila Lime Crush this weekend for Father’s Day- it would go great served with the Chicken Fajita Rice!
