Crock Pot Kielbasa Recipe

This is our twist on the popular crock pot bourbon kielbasa that I’m sure everyone’s tried by now.

An easy appetizer recipe that has stood the test of time and for good reason. It’s easy to make, it tastes good and it’s portable.

Just unplug your slow cooker and carry it with you to your party or friend’s house and your good to go.

But you know I like to give recipes a little twist, so I decided to spice this crock pot kielbasa recipe up with sriracha and then sweeten it with honey and jelly.

Topped off with just a splash of whiskey to make this appetizer recipe party ready.

How Do You Make Crock Pot Kielbasa?

Just cut up your kielbasa into bite-sized pieces and get it into your slow cooker or crock pot.

Mix together the sriracha, honey, apricot jelly and whiskey in a bowl and then pour it all over the cut up kielbasa.

And that’s all folks.

Set your crock pot on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 and wait for the magic to happen. The flavors in this easy appetizer recipe will blend together and make the kielbasa super addicting and delicious.

Can You Leave Out The Whiskey?

Of course, you totally can. But why I ask? This is party food, after all.

But yes, go ahead and leave out the splash of whiskey in this kielbasa recipe if you need to. No judging. It’s still going to be a kick ass party appetizer.

Your friends can always drink their whiskey on the side!

These look great! I think I will take them for a Halloween parry on Saturday! Just wondering though, would it be okay to just leave out the Whiskey? We will be in mixed company.

  2. Marissa, yes, it’s totally OK to leave the whiskey out. It adds a good flavor to the sauce but it’ll be just fine without it. We’re having it on Saturday for Halloween too – Have fun!
