Who doesn’t love a good Christmas cocktail party?
My hand is raised high – we love them.
Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties seem to make it OK to indulge in a little too much food and cocktails. Indulging is sort of our thing, if you haven’t noticed so we take all opportunities to shine.
One thing I love about making holiday drinks like this Christmas Punch recipe is that you can make it up ahead of time.
Mix the ingredients together in a pitcher and just set it out on the table when your guests arrive. I mean, right? Who really wants to be playing bartender all night and missing all the fun?
Actually, I kind of do. I’m always in the kitchen making something else to eat or drink while the party is going on in the other room
” Where’s Dan?” Is always asked a few times a night at one of my parties, kind of like Where’s Waldo except everyone knows where to find me.
Truth is, I don’t really mind doing it.
As long as you’re having a good time, then I am too! So in the kitchen is usually where you’ll find me, but having options like this Christmas Punch Recipe that can be made ahead of time is always a good option.
So you want to know the coolest (or warmest) thing about this Christmas Punch Recipe? You can serve it warm or cold! Yep, there’s choices here, people.
Make this punch recipe up in a pitcher or two and store it in the refrigerator, or add it to a slow cooker and keep it warm all night for a warm cocktail!
We’ve tried it both ways, both ways are delicious so we’re going to leave that decision up to you!
