A Spicy Seasoned Pretzel Recipe
For a while I thought that you bought seasoned pretzels in a bag at the grocery store. I mean, yes you can buy them at the grocery store, but I never realized that you could actually make your own seasoned pretzels.
When I was trying to think of the prefect snack for game day, or for eating while drinking a nice cold beer, I came up with these Flavor Rockin’ Pretzel Bites. Spicy, addicting and perfectly seasoned and they literally take about 5 minutes to make. Now that’s the best dude snack recipe ever.
As you know there are many, many different hot sauce brands out there and they all have different levels of heat and different flavors to them. Some are very mild and some are – not. So find your favorite brand and start making these pretzels!
How To Make Seasoned Pretzels
Break up a bag of large sourdough or regular hard pretzels. Mix up a quick butter sauce and toss it with the broken pretzels.
Make sure that all the pretzel pieces are evenly coated so that you get the most flavor with eery bite! Bake for 10 minutes, cool and you’re on your way.
These seasoned pretzels are not only perfect for appetizers or on a cheese board at parties, but they are also very portable! Pack them into resealable bags or containers for picnics or for snacks on a car ride!

We’ve chosen one of our favorite hot sauces to use in this recipe but don’t forget that you can use any hot sauce that you like – even buffalo wing sauce would be awesome! Some other ideas to swap out for the hot sauce could include sriracha, chili garlic sauce, and even a BBQ sauce!

Flavor Rockin’ Pretzel Bites

This spicy pretzel snack is perfect for parties! Use your favorite hot sauce to make this pretzel appetizer!
Ingredients
- 1 lb. bag sourdough pretzels, broken into small pieces
- 1/4 cup hot sauce
- 1 stick (8 tablespoons) butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 tablespoons brown mustard
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Make the sauce by combining the hot sauce, butter, garlic powder, dried parsley and mustard in a bowl and whisking together until combined.
- Add the pretzel pieces to a large bowl and pour the sauce over until well coated.
- Spread the pretzels onto a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
- Let cool and store in a sealed container for up to a week.
