Why We Love RumChata Cocktails!
This Campfire Milk Punch is like a boozy drink and a dessert all rolled into one. It’s made with Rumchata, bourbon, cream and fresh nutmeg grated on top. Stirred with a cinnamon stick for garnish to give it a little more flavor…it’s the perfect dessert cocktail.
RumChata adds such a unique flavor to cocktail recipes, and the creaminess can’t be beat, it’s delicious on it’s own just over ice! But shake it up in a fun drink recipe and there won’t be a drop left behind.
When you shake this Campfire Milk Punch recipe in a cocktail shaker with ice, you get all these little icy pieces floating all through your drink. On a hot summer day, there’s honestly nothing better!
The kids can toast up their s’mores and you can have an adult, boozy dessert. Not to say you can’t snack on some of those s’mores too, it would be a party without them!
What Kind Of Bourbon Do You Use In This Recipe?
Any kind that’s your favorite is my answer. We make cocktail recipes all the time so we usually have plenty of bourbon to choose from. Milk punch is usually made with just bourbon, but when I was looking over the recipe I thought why not swap out the milk and use RumChata instead?
I mean what can be better than this? Boozy frothy drinks, fire pits and nice weather. For me, not much.
