This Bourbon Caramel Corn Milkshake is an adult milkshake recipe for parties or birthdays! We like to serve this boozy milkshake for watching the game, or just a date night at home.
Bourbon Milkshake Recipe
What says baseball to me? Tailgating, hanging with my friends and family (mostly my boys) and food. Oh yeah, there’s the Yankees too and watching the actual game…but the food and drinks have a lot to do with the whole experience.
I’m a die hard Yankee fan as you probably know by now. I’ve got season tickets in the bleachers and I wouldn’t change my seats for anything. It does get hot sometimes and yep, not so much fun when it’s raining but it all adds to the fun.
But the tailgating is really where it’s at. I love these sliders, or definitely wings and always lots of ice cold beer and cocktails.
But desserts don’t really get a lot of play time on my menu so I thought I’d switch it up and make this boozy milkshake. Because there’s always ice cream and cracker jack at baseball games right? So let’s combine it all…add a few shots of bourbon and see how it goes.
How To Make A Bourbon Caramel Corn Milkshake
For this milkshake I’m actually going to use caramel corn to stand in for the cracker jack. I didn’t want to add peanuts into the mix and I definitely didn’t want to fish out the popcorn for an hour so I went with a bag of straight up caramel corn.
Add in a big handful of caramel corn to your blender. Scoop in your favorite vanilla ice cream or custard…
A few swirls of caramel sauce and then pour in the bourbon.
Can You Leave Out The Alcohol In This Milkshake?
Of course! You can make these milkshakes virgin simply by omitting the bourbon. These milkshakes are so good, there’s no reason why everyone shouldn’t enjoy them!
