What Type Of Vodka Is Best For A Vodka Seltzer?
We love using Kettle One Vodka for drink recipes like this Blueberry Vodka Seltzer! It’s smooth and drinkable, and like a good vodka it enhances the flavors of the drink without overpowering it.
This Blueberry Vodka Seltzer might seem like a summer drink to you but for me it’s going in the “all year ’round” cocktail category. Blueberries are always a good choice at the grocery store year round so you can make this drink whenever you want to.
And you’re going to want to, I promise you that.
We picked up this blueberry seltzer the last time we were out shopping around for ingredients. After hiding it from my kids for a few weeks…I pulled it out and tried to figure out what to make with it.
Straight up it was good, but a little sweet so I definitely wanted to use a good vodka and fresh fruit to balance out the sweetness.
Besides vodka and blueberry seltzer I added some elderflower liquor to bring out the flavor in the blueberries and mint. Elderflower is a floral liquor, but not sweet as you might think, so it also worked perfectly in this drink.
Can You Use Other Fruit Flavors In Vodka Seltzers?
If you can’t find blueberry seltzer like the kind we got at Trader Joe’s you could also just use regular seltzer which I’ve seen in most grocery stores. But don’t stop there, you can use any flavored seltzer in this drink recipe that you like!
Use a quality vodka like Kettle One to make this Blueberry Vodka Seltzer and you’ll be mixing them up round after round.
