A Tequila Cocktail For Halloween Parties
How about some of this Vampire Tequila to serve at your Halloween party? I wanted this to be a fun Halloween cocktail -and fun it is. With “Blood” dripping down the rim and vampire fang ice cubes.
Fang ice cubes are totally optional.
Today is Halloween and I have to admit that it’s not my favorite holiday. Which is why we need drinks! I know it’s for the kids, I get it, but it’s a lot of work for the adults. Decorating (yes, I’m the one who decorates) and buying all the candy.
We live in a neighborhood where the houses are really far apart. To walk the whole neighborhood and back takes a long, long time. Another reason to have a fun Halloween drink in hand…
But I do know that it’s short lived, soon my little guy will be able to go with the big kids by himself, but for now…I walk. So to make all that waking and hot dog cooking more fun I came up with this Vampire Tequila cocktail.
How Do You Make This Halloween Cocktail?
I used PAMA liqueur which happens to be a favorite in my house – especially with the wife. It’s a pomegranate flavored liqueur that you can use to make lots of drinks, but normally in our house it’s pomegranate martinis.
Pama liquor is a lot better than using pomegranate juice because for one it’s not as sweet as the juice. Another reason is that it’s adding more booze to the drink instead of just plain juice.
To make this this Halloween tequila cocktail, I combined tequila with the PAMA liqueur and topped it off with seltzer. Almost like a version of the classic tequila sunrise cocktail. But this one is Halloween ready.
And I think in true Halloween form, this tequila cocktail is more like a sunset.
Most importantly, it’s a really good drink, even if you think you don’t like tequila I know you’re going to like this tequila combination.
Please do add the blood dripping down the sides of this drink and these vampire fang ice cubes are crazy cool. No vampire ice cube molds? How can that be? Throw in some of those plastic fangs from the dollar store that you chilled in the freezer.
Yep, I’ve got you covered here. You’ll be the coolest house on the street at Halloween. As far as the adults are concerned anyway.
You can make this Vampire Tequila cocktail ahead of time and keep it in a pitcher, then just top with seltzer! (And Fangs:)
