Crock Pot Steak Fajitas are one of the easiest way to make authentic tasting beef fajitas with only a few minutes of prep time!
This totally is the easiest recipe ever if you like fajitas. The fact that it took us 4 times to make it is another story.
This fajita recipe is an example of how sometimes the easiest recipes turn out to be the most difficult.
The first time I made these Crock Pot Steak Fajitas was for our annual Halloween party. It was a great addition to the traditional hot dogs and snacks we normally put out.
And they were pretty good for a first attempt…
But I just wanted to try and make them a little bit better, cause that’s how I am.
Also, I like cooking with beer whenever I can so I put a bottle of beer in the crock pot with the steak and peppers the first time.
OK – it was good, but the beer kind of took over the seasonings on the steak. So I tried it again without the beer.
And it was better, a lot better – so good that we wolfed it down for dinner and forgot to take pictures. Don’t even ask me how that happened but it did.
The third time I made I forgot to write down how much teriyaki sauce I used.
Unbelievable. Rookie Move.
So I made it one last time. We’re all kind of getting sick of eating steak fajitas at this point…
But I did it. Set it all up in the morning and got it going.
Annnnnnd now the power goes out. We had a big snowstorm that day (the perfect day to stay inside and do some cooking) and the power goes out.
After waiting and hoping for an hour that it would come back on, I went outside and got our generator hooked up.
The Crock Pot Steak Fajitas were on again, for the fourth time.
How To Make Crock Pot Fajitas
This really is the easiest fajita recipe to make – if you have power. Cut up your peppers and onions and pour McCormick Sweet and Smokey Rub all over the steak.
Rub it in good.
Get the steak into your slow cooker with teriyaki sauce and worcestershire sauce and turn it on low. We took this picture when the power was still out so we had to turn on some flash lights for light.
You get the idea…
That’s all folks! After 6-8 hours you have perfectly shreddable steak fajitas.
Ridiculously easy steak fajita recipe, as long as you have power and the ingredients are all here worked out for you:)
