What Does A Vanilla Peach Cosmopolitan Taste Like?

I don’t know many women who don’t like cosmopolitans. I’ve tried a sip of my wife’s at times, it’s ok, not really my kind of drink but I get why so many women like it.

If you make them right it’s a drink that’s not too sweet with a fresh splash of lime juice to make it tart at the same time.

So I’ve got to take that classic drink and give it a twist by using peach instead of cranberry and vanilla vodka instead of plain vodka…and I think you’re going to like it a lot.

It’s definitely not too sweet, but there is some sweet flavor from peach nectar. The main difference is that this Vanilla Peach Cosmopolitan has no tart flavor to it from the lime. The lime juice is still in there to cut down on the sweetness but because the vanilla flavor is there too it doesn’t give you that puckered up face when you drink it. Maybe this version is more of a cooler weather cosmo?

I’m no expert, but I can tell you that Christie seemed to like it very much. I’ll definitely be shaking some of these up at the next happy hour. I also highly recommend splurging for the vanilla bean garnish…every time you take a sip you get the smell of the vanilla bean, it’s like drinking a dessert.

So now it’s decision time at cocktail time – which will it be? The standard Cosmopolitan or this Peach Vanilla Cosmopolitan? It’s a tough choice, maybe you can alternate every other night:)
