Why We Love These Bomb Pop Cocktails

Well I mean…just look at them! These Bomb Pop Cocktails literally bring the fun. There’s nothing better than a signature drink to make any party feel more festive!

  • Easy to make: Not only are these cocktails fun to look at, but they couldn’t be easier to make with just three ingredients.
  • Super festive: Whether your doing a holiday BBQ or just a fun backyard cookout with friends and family, these bomb pop cocktails are sure to steal the show.
  • Nostalgic Flavor: We all remember classic bomb pops from when we were younger. These drinks will take you back!

Ingredients

Just three ingredients and you’ll be sipping on these bomb pop cocktails in just minutes.

  • Champagne or Prosecco: Either one, obviously not a super pricey bottle, just one you like the taste of. Opt for a brut or extra brut (dryer instead of sweeter) since the popsicles add sugar to the drink.
  • Berry Vodka: We like using this red, white and berry vodka for the fourth of July, but you can use any berry or citrus vodka that you have. Even try using regular vodka if you don’t want the added sweetness.
  • Bomb Pops: Grab these classic popsicles in the freezer section of your grocery store. Sometimes called firecracker pops.

How To Make

Did I mention how easy these cocktails are to make? There’s only three ingredients and there’s absolutely no skill involved!

  • Place a bomb pop popsicle into a coup glass or a wine glass.
  • Add berry vodka and top off with prosecco or champagne. Serve immediately.

Variations

You can really make these champagne cocktails in so many different ways. Try switching up the popsicles to fit a theme or a holiday. You could get green for St. Patrick’s Day, red for Valentine’s Day…you get the idea.

Try using different flavored vodka as well, keep it in a citrus or berry family since the flavor will blend in with the popsicle as it melts. Or you can omit the vodka all together and just use champagne.

We’ve also made a variation of these bomb pop cocktails with beer and whiskey for those that don’t like champagne. Huge hit for Father’s Day or a birthday celebration!

These drinks are so fun for the kids, too! Just add the popsicles to glasses (you can use wine glasses to make it feel grown-up) and then top off with berry seltzer, lemon-lime soda or even lemonade.

A fun party idea for the kids (and adults!) is to set out a self-serve station where everyone can make their own drink. Have different options for the drinks like we mentioned above and keep the pops in a cooler!
