A Boozy Twist On A Classic Kiddie Cocktail Recipe
Sometimes I like to play bartender when no one is expecting anything. My friends and family might be out in the dining room or on the back deck, eating and drinking and asking that age old question “Where’s Dan?”
I’ve always got something up my sleeve so I’m often out of the room somewhere concocting up an appetizer or a fun cocktail like this Kinky Shirley Temple.
What makes this cocktail kinky? Kinky Liquor is what gives this grown up Shirley Temple cocktail is fun pink color and also a super tasty flavor. If you can’t find pink cherries like I have here, just use the classic red color!
Ingredients To Make A Kinky Shirley Temple
Nothing too fancy here, just a few ingredients and you’ll be on your way to a fun drink recipe that is definitely going to be a hit with the ladies! But hey, I’m not here to leave the dudes out – I’ve had my share of these Kinky Shirley Temples too, and I’m not mad about it at all.
Kinky Liqueur: Premium vodka that’s distilled 5 times with mango, blood orange liquor and passion fruit.
7Up: We like the flavor of 7Up for this cocktail but you could use Sprite or Ginger Ale too.
Maraschino Cherries: I found these cool pink cherries on Amazon, but if you can’t find them just swap out red instead.
All you need to do is add the liquor to a high ball glass with ice and then top off with the soda of your choice. Garnish with cherries and serve! This Kinky Shirley Temple drink is fun for happy hour, parties and holidays!
