Spicy Margarita From Epcot at Disney World
This picture is from when we were visiting Epcot® at Disney World a few years back. If you’ve never visited Mexico at Epcot®, you’re missing out on a whole lot of fun. It feels like you’re going down into a cave, and it really looks like a cave, too. Bars, restaurants and stores all around that will keep you entertained for hours.
But what we enjoyed the most (I know, shocking) were the Spicy Margaritas they served there. So good, I mean SO good you guys, we enjoyed one or two I have to admit. This margarita was heavy on the Cointreau, which gave it more of an orange flavor instead of the lime flavor that stands out in most margaritas, and I loved it.
Ingredients You’ll Need
Just a few ingredients is all you need to get these spicy margs ready to serve! Head to the recipe card for complete amounts instructions.
- Reposado Tequila: This margarita recipe will work with any tequila, but we find that reposado gives the most authentic flavors for this particular recipe.
- Cointreau: Cointreau is an orange flavored liquor that is used in many different cocktail recipes, including margaritas. Triple sec can also be substituted.
- Rose’s Lime Juice: Rose’s lime juice is sweetened, so it does add a different flavor than fresh lime juice. If you like your drink less sweet than you can substitute lime juice instead.
- Chili Powder: Dust the rim of this drink with spicy chili powder for a kick! If you don’t like it too spicy, you can use our All-Purpose Seasoning too.
