A Light & Bubbly Gin Cocktail Recipe

This Gin and Ginger Fizz is such a refreshing drink! These cocktails are great for sipping outside in the warm weather, but we really seem to make them all season long. If you’re really not a gin fan you can make these same drinks with vodka too and even rum!

We’re making these drinks as a play on a gin and tonic, but a little sweeter and without tonic. so not really a gin and tonic at all…but you get the idea.

Ingredients To Make A Gin & Ginger Fizz

Just a few ingredients will make for a refreshingly tasty cocktail!

Gin: Use whatever gin you like, or like we said vodka and rum are all good substitutions.

Elderflower Liquor: Elderflower liquor is a light and floral flavored, in the best way possible.

Ginger Beer: Ginger beer isn’t actually beer, it’s more like a soda.

Lime: Fresh lime juice adds just the right amount of citrus flavor!

You can also make these cocktails for a party! Mix up the gin, elderflower liquor and lime juice in a pitcher and then your guests can pour the mixture into glasses and top off with ginger beer. No need to be playing bartender all night, these drinks can serve themselves!

If you can’t find ginger beer you can substitute ginger ale or even just seltzer. This Gin and Ginger Fizz is really an adaptable cocktail to whatever your taste preferences are. We’ve even used and alcoholic ginger beer for a little more kick!
