This easy recipe is great for busy nights, using sliced roast beef from the deli that's piled onto cheesy sub rolls with a quick au jus dip! Ready in just 15 minutes.
You'll only need sliced roast beef from the deli and a few other ingredients to make this easy recipe. Let's get started!
Simmer the butter, shallot, thyme, flour, sherry, beef broth, salt, and pepper.
Place the open sub rolls on a baking sheet and toast under the broiler. Then add 2 slices of cheese to each side of each sub roll.
Place back under the broiler for a minute or two to melt the cheese. Then remove the rolls from the oven.
Place the roast beef on a board, spreading out and seasoning with the steak seasoning.
Using tongs, dip the roast beef into the au jus and then divide between the 4 sub rolls.
Serve with extra au jus on the side for dipping.
