Easy to make Texas Trash Dip is always a hit at parties! A warm, cheesy layered bean dip that’s always the first appetizer to disappear!

- 16 ounce can refried beans
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 ounce packet taco seasoning
- 4.5 ounce can diced green chiles
- 2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Spread the refried beans into a 9″ deep pie dish or a 9″ x 9″ baking dish.
- Add the cream cheese, sour cream, salsa and taco seasoning to another bowl and mix until blended. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the beans in an even layer.
- Top the cream cheese layer with the green chiles, spreading out evenly.
- Add the shredded cheese to the top and bake for 25-30 minutes. Serve immediately.

Storing Leftovers: Store leftovers in a container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat leftovers in the microwave until just warmed through and the cheese is melted.
