This slow cooker cider cocktail is our go to for Fall entertaining! Outside parties by a fire or cuddled up by the fireplace inside, this warm drink fits the bill!

Scale

Ingredients

  • 9 cups apple cider
  • whiskey (2.25 cups)
  • 3/4 cup apple liquor
  • 3 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 large apples, green or red, sliced (plus extra for garnish)
  • 6 cinnamon sticks (plus extra for garnish)
  • Cinnamon sugar (for rimming the glasses *see note)
  • Corn syrup (for rimming the glasses)

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a 4 quart slow cooker (except for the garnish ingredients)
  2. Turn on low for 4 hours or on high for 2 hours. If you are using the high temperature setting to heat the cider, turn the setting on low once the cider is heated through.
  3. Add corn syrup to a flat plate in an even layer, wide enough for the rim of the glass you are using. Pour the cinnamon sugar onto another flat plate, then dip the rim of your glass into the corn syrup and then the cinnamon sugar to coat the rim.
  4. Repeat with as many glasses as you need for serving.

Recipe Notes

Make a mixture of 1/4 cup white sugar to 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon. Increase the amount for the amount of glasses you need.
