Whiskey Steak Marinade Recipe

This whiskey steak marinade can be used on chicken, turkey and pork too! The longer you let this marinade recipe work on the meat the better!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 ounces of your favorite whiskey or bourbon

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a container or small bowl and whisk to combine.
  2. Place your steak in a deep dish or a resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the steak and toss to combine. Refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours.
  3. After you take the steak out of the marinade, wipe off most of the marinade and discard. Leave a thin layer of the marinade on the steak so that it caramelizes on the grill. Grill to your desired temperature, then remove from the grill and let rest, covered with foil for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
