Ham and Pub Cheese Crackers

This easy appetizer recipe is perfect for parties! Make the cheese spread ahead of time and assemble before party time!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 34 cloves fresh garlic, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 cup beer
  • 1/4 lb. thinly sliced ham
  • Crackers for serving such as Ritz or Townhouse
  • Chopped chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add the cheese, mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, hot sauce, cayenne, garlic, salt, pepper and beer to a food processor and blend until smooth. Taste for seasonings and remove to a bowl.
  2. Chill for at least an hour or up to overnight.
  3. Assemble the crackers by spreading the pub cheese onto a cracker and then adding a slice of ham topped with chives.
