We love making a Cheeseburger Bowl for parties, game days or just a fun dinner night! All the flavors and toppings in your favorite cheeseburger, drizzled with a creamy mac sauce.

Scale

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 5 slices yellow American cheese
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce, cleaned and torn into pieces

For the Sauce:

  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon pickle relish

Instructions

  1. Add the ingredients for the sauce to a small bowl, whisk to combine and set aside.
  2. Add the oil to a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions and cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add the ground beef, breaking up into crumbles as it cooks. Cook the beef until no pink remains and then drain any grease from the skillet.
  3. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Place the cheese slices on top of the ground beef to cover most of the surface of the meat. Cover with a lid (or you can use aluminum foil) for 1 minute to let the cheese melt.
  4. Divide the lettuce between 4 large, shallow bowls. Using a spatula, spoon the beef and cheese on top of the lettuce, dividing between the 4 bowls.
  5. Drizzle the sauce on top or serve on the side. Add desired toppings and serve.
