- 4 bananas, sliced into large pieces
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 1 stick of butter
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of dark rum
- 1/4 cup of banana liquor
- vanilla ice cream
Instructions
- melt the butter in a large skillet with the brown sugar. Once it’s heated through, add in the banana pieces and let simmer for 4-5 minutes. Add in the cream and stir.
- Off of the heat, add in the dark rum and the banana liquor. Using a lighter, carefully light the top of the sauce and let burn until the flame burns out.
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then serve over ice cream and dust with cinnamon.
