Nutty Irishman cocktails are perfect for St. Patrick's Day!

This sweet dessert cocktail is one of my favorite drink recipes to order after a meal! Now you can make this classic cocktail at home!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Irish Cream
  • 1 1/2 ounces Frangelica
  • 1/2 ounce Kahlua
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Chopped nuts for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the Baileys, Frangelica and Kahlua to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a low ball glass.
  2. Beat the heavy cream with a whisk for 3-4 minutes until just thickened. Slowly pour the cream into the glass so the cream sits on top.
  3. Sprinkle with chopped nuts on top, or use chopped nuts to rim the glass. (see note)

Recipe Notes

To Rim the Glass: Use a simple syrup (equal parts sugar boiled with equal parts water until clear) to wet the edges of a glass and then roll into chopped nuts. You can also use light corn syrup if you want a stronger hold.
