Ingredients
- 2 boxes vanilla instant pudding (1.85 ounces each)
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh nutmeg
- 3 1/2 cups eggnog
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- Crushed candy canes or peppermint for garnish
Instructions
- Add the pudding packets, cinnamon, vanilla extract, brown sugar and nutmeg to a bowl.
- Pour in the eggnog and bourbon and stir for two minutes until thickened.
- Pour the pudding into ramekins or small bowls for serving, then place on a sheet pan in the refrigerator for 5 minutes until thickened.
- Pudding can stay in the refrigerator longer or even overnight, add peppermint garnish right before serving.
Recipe Notes
This recipe can easily be doubled or triple depending on how much you need! You can also omit the bourbon and and a full 4 cups of eggnog instead!
