This easy, delicious grilled salmon has the most delicious fresh basil cream sauce!

Ingredients

  • (4) 6 oz. salmon filets
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • 2 cedar planks

For the Basil Cream Sauce

  • 1 cup packed basil leaves
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Place on the cedar planks and grill over medium heat (about 375) for 12-13 minutes.
  3. Add the ingredients for the sauce to a blender and blend until smooth. Serve on the side or spoon over the warm salmon.
