Air Fryer Frozen Broccoli cooks right from frozen, so it’s ready in just minutes! Tender, sweet broccoli with crispy florets and nutty parmesan cheese. A delicious and healthy side dish that everyone will love!

Scale

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce bag frozen baby broccoli
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Fresh ground black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil or canola oil cooking spray
  • 1/4 cup shaved parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees if needed.
  2. Empty the bag of frozen broccoli into a large bowl or onto a sheet pan. Season the broccoli with salt, garlic powder and pepper and then spray with olive oil cooking spray.
  3. Grab the broccoli florets (leaving any small bits of broccoli behind as they will burn) and place them in the basket of an air fryer in an even layer. Cook for 5 minutes and then toss and cook another 3-4 minutes until tender and crispy.
  4. Garnish with shaved parmesan cheese or a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. (optional)

Recipe Notes

Store: After the broccoli has cooled, store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Reheat: This broccoli reheats very well in the microwave, or in the air fryer to revive some of the crispy texture.
