Sear the roast

Start by getting a good sear on the chuck roast. Season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder and steak seasoning, then dust it in flour.

Add to crockpot

Place the seared chuck roast into the slow cooker with condensed French onion soup, water, fresh rosemary and a bay leaf.

Slow Cook

Set your crock pot on low for 8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. Then shred the beef with two forks

Melt the Cheese

Open up sub rolls and lay out 2 slices of provolone cheese on each side. Bake until the cheese is melted, then add the shredded beef.
