Cedar Plank Salmon with Basil Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • (4) 6 oz. salmon filets
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil
  • 2 cedar planks

For the Basil Cream Sauce

  • 1 cup packed basil leaves
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then drizzle with olive oil.
  2. Place on the cedar planks and grill over medium heat (about 375) for 12-13 minutes.
