Try this Boozy Shamrock Party Punch for St. Patrick’s Day! It’s fun, festive and so easy to make, your guests are going to love it!

If you need ideas for an over the top recipe – I’m your man.

I love doing over the top recipes and themes so much that Christie often has to take me back down a few notches. For some weird reason she doesn’t think every recipe needs to be over the top…I’m not sure why that is but sometimes I let her win.

But holidays like St. Patrick’s Day – require OVER THE TOP recipes.

And that’s usually the only time I get away with it.

This Boozy Shamrock Party Punch is how I like to serve up cocktails for a holiday! Lots of shamrock shapes, the green color of the drink and most of all – it’s really delicious.

I can always find everything I need all in one stop at Walmart. I grabbed 7UP®, sherbet and fruit. All the ingredients for a delicious party punch!

Oh and the booze? Yeah I’ve got plenty of that at home…

This recipe is also really easy to make without any alcohol since 7UP is really so good all on it’s own. You can swap out the vodka and melon liquor for fruit juice to keep this booze free.

I have to say though, we use 7UP to make a lot of different cocktail recipes, it has such a great flavor that it’s going to work in so many different drinks. So make sure when you head out to Walmart you grab plenty of 7UP!

I know you’re going to ask – do I really have to cut stuff out with a shamrock cookie cutter? Well the answer is no, it’s still going to taste the same obviously. But it looks so cool for a party, I think the real answer is yes. Because presentation you know – it’s everything.

I used a melon baller to scoop out the melon and a shamrock cookie cutter for the kiwi fruit and the apples. I even found a shamrock paper cutter that I used for the mint garnish…you can’t leave out the garnish!

So yeah, over the top.

But man it sure looks cool! And I can tell you, all of the tools that I used to make this punch cost less than 15 dollars, so we’re not talking about a big investment here.

Instead of using ice that would eventually water down the flavor of this Boozy Shamrock Party Punch, I’m scooping ice cold sherbet into the bottom of the punch glasses.

It works to chill the drink and also adds flavor to the punch as the sherbet melts…I’m telling you, it’s so good! Check out how fun this punch is to make!

A few extra steps will help you go that extra mile when you’re planning a party – it’s not just any day here – it’s St. Patrick’s Day! So make sure to grab lots of 7UP to make this Boozy Shamrock Party Punch and also to serve on the side!
