Buddah’s Baked Beans are the best baked beans you’ll ever taste! Loaded with beef, bacon and brown sugar, there’s nothing that can’t be good!
Here we are making another recipe that before this web site I’d definitely never have tried.
But when you take baked beans and add whole pound of ground beef, a whole pound of bacon and a lot of brown sugar…well then these are beans that I’m going to give a try. There’s not many bacon recipes in general that I’m going to be passing up.
Once you try Buddah’s Baked Beans, no beans will ever be the same. You know like normal people who open a can of beans and just heat them up? Can’t even imagine that. Not after having these beans. I mean look at this slow cooker, you can hardly even see the beans with all the other ingredients going on. Lots of meat to beef ratio here.
Just the way I think beans should be.
This recipe is from Christie’s mom and she’s been making it for years. Way before I ever came into the family, I mean a really long time. And I always heard that everyone loves them whenever she makes them. So we thought it was time that we got them here on the site for you all to enjoy too.
The only change to the recipe was adding a can of red kidney beans – for a different texture and look. But honestly mostly for the look, so if you only have cans of baked beans it’s totally fine.
These beans will cook in your slow cooker for a few hours, give them a stir and bring them along to wherever you’re going. Or keep them on low until you’re ready to serve them up! Watch and see how incredibly easy Buddah’s Beans are to make!
All I can tell you is that these beans are epic. One bite and you’ll never heat up beans from the can again!
